Problems Faced –

Migration Challenges: Safely transitioning from an outdated website to a new platform, while ensuring domain, website data, and essential email services face no downtime or disruption.
Content Presentation: The nature of maxillofacial surgeries could be seen as daunting. The task was to present these services in an approachable and professional manner, ensuring potential patients weren’t deterred.
API Integrations: The need to incorporate real-time data from multiple external platforms like Google Reviews, Google Maps, and Instagram to enhance the site’s functionality and interactivity.
Video Hosting: The challenge of efficiently hosting a number of high-quality videos in a manner that doesn’t compromise the site’s loading times or overall speed.

How I Overcame the Problems –

Seamless Migration: Undertook a phased migration approach. By carefully adjusting DNS records and liaising with the hosting provider, I ensured that email services were intact, negating the need for re-login or potential loss of vital communication.
Engaging Design: Prioritized user experience (UX) to present complex medical procedures in a positive light. This was achieved using friendly iconography, high-quality visuals, and strategic content layout.
Optimized API Integration: Utilized asynchronous loading methods and efficient coding practices to seamlessly incorporate real-time Google Reviews, Google Maps, and Instagram feeds without hampering site responsiveness.
Strategic Video Hosting: Leveraged advanced video compression techniques paired with Content Delivery Network (CDN) strategies to efficiently host and deliver videos, ensuring crisp playback without affecting site speed.
Dedicated Learning Portal: Crafted a user-centric landing page for the learning institute with intuitive navigation. This provided potential students with clear CTAs, course details, and streamlined the enrollment process.
